Polk County Offers Free Whooping Cough Vaccination - And More Around Johnston

Pertussis Vaccination Clinic
The Polk County Health Department will be holding a pertussis (otherwise known as whooping cough) vaccination clinic from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 1907 Carpenter Avenue in Des Moines. There will be no charge for the vaccination.
Pertussis is spread through the air when someone who has the disease coughs.

Vocal Concerts
hosts an eighth-grade concert choir at 5:30 p.m. The ninth grade takes the stage at 7:45 p.m.
presents a spring concert for sixth grade at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
presents a band concert for fifth-grade students at 7 p.m.

Lawson Band and Art Events
presents Fine Arts Night starting at 5 p.m. The school also hosts a band concert at 6:30 p.m.

Utility Bill Notice
