Saddle Up for the Johnston Bicycle Rodeo

A bicycle rodeo and family trail ride that ends at Vandee's ice cream shop are set for May 11.

The Johnston Bicycle Round-Up will be held Saturday, May 11, at the Pioneer parking lot at the corner of Pioneer Parkway and South Drive.

The event is free and all ages are welcome.

Bicycle Rodeo

Check-in: 12:45 p.m. Rodeo: 1 p.m.

The event includes sessions on safety, rules of the road/trail, a helmet check, and obstacle course.

Family Trail Ride

Check-in between 12:45 and 1:45 p.m.

The ride can begin anytime between 1 and 2 p.m. It starts at the Pioneer parking lot and ends at Van Dee’s Ice Cream. All riders will get a special treat. Three-mile and four-mile routes.
