Sign Up For Johnston Trails 5K Run: From the Mayor's Desk
The Johnston Running Club is inviting residents out to their 5K to support the city's trails.

Sign up now for the second annual Mayorβs Run for the Trails 5K.Β
Join your friends and neighbors for this upcoming event starting at 8 a.m. on Sept. 7 at Johnston High School.Β The run is being organized by the Johnston Running Club and will take place on the recreational trails along 62nd Avenue and the Beaver Creek Natural Resource Area.Β

Itβs a non-competitive run and youβre certainly welcome to walk it if you want.Β Β Itβs just a fun, easy way to show your support for Johnstonβs recreational trails.Β
The proceeds from the run will be donated by the Johnston Running Club to the cityβs Park and Trail Improvements Fund to help offset the costs of maintaining and improving Johnstonβs trails.Β
