Son Allegedly Threatens Mom With Knife: Johnston Police Blotter
The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls April 29 to May 1. Take a look at the reports.

One Johnston mother experienced a frightening moment last week.
On April 30, an 82-year-old woman reported to police that her 55-year-old son had threatened her with a knife.
Officers responded to the residence in the 6100 block of Cedar Crest Drive, where the victim reported her son had put down the knife.

She refused to press charges.

A 26-year-old man reported that an adult family member was being verbally abusive in the 4800 block of Northwest 62nd Avenue.
