Join in the Johnston Student Council's this morning. A student/staff pancake breakfast starts at 7 a.m. at the . Enjoy a delicious breakfast of pancakes before herding to class. Cost is $5.

Senior Center
Join the Johnston Senior Center at today for a variety of activities. Exercise begins at 10 a.m., "Sew-cial" is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Bingo at 11:30 a.m. and games at 1 p.m.

Traveling Exhibit
The "Unconditional Loyalty: The Military Service of African Americans" traveling museum exhibit will be at the until Feb. 18.
The exhibit from the African American Museum in Cedar Rapids showcases Iowa's African American military heroes and heroines from the Revolutionary War to today. Special emphasis is on the 60th U.S. Colored Troops, the Buffalo Soldiers, women in the military, Iowa's World War I training camps at Camp Dodge and Fort Des Moines, and the Tuskagee Airmen.
Museum hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
