Stop Leads to Charge of Assault on Officer, OWI - Johnston Police Blotter
The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls from March 22 to March 25. Take a look at the reports.

A traffic stop on March 22 led to several charges against a 32-year-old man.
Shawn Heuss was stopped in the area of Northwest 48th Court and Northwest Beaver Drive.
Heuss was charged with a second offense of operating while intoxicated, interference with official acts and assault on a police officer.

March 25
Kevin Casale, 37, was charged with public intoxication in the area of Northwest 70th Avenue and Northwest 86th Street.
March 24
Officers took report of a burglary from a vehicle parked in the garage at a home in the 9000 block of Longview Drive. The garage had been left open and a laptop, kindle and medication were stolen.
March 23
Victor Escalona, 19, was arrested for an outstanding warrant after police responded to a call in reference to loud vehicles in the 6100 block of Four Pines Street. Several of the vehicles occupants advised officers they had been at a party.
