The National Weather Service predicts patchy frost for parts of Iowa tonight.

That's what the forecast for today and tonight includes.

The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook Monday morning for Polk County.

The forecast calls for non-severe thunderstorms this afternoon. Temperatures are expected to reach the mid 60s with wind making it even cooler.

The storms are expected to break up this evening.

The outlook calls for patchy frost and a low in the upper 30s tonight.

Cool temperatures continue Tuesday morning with a high in the mid 60s.
