The Johnston Senior Center at Crown Point Community Center hosts Mah Jongg at 9:30 a.m. and a visiting nurse from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Wii Bowling at 1 p.m.

The Johnston Public Library hosts storytime at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. for childre ages three to six.
Grimes Kiwanis Pre-Organizational Meeting
A new Kiwanis Club is coming to Grimes. Metro area members have been busy canvassing businesses in the community to sign up interested members. Pre-organizational meeting is at 7 a.m., at Special Olympics meeting room.
Alcoholics Anonymous
An Alcoholics Anonymous group meets at 8 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Church.
