Students 'Fire & Ice' Artwork Displayed at Johnston Public LIbrary

It's a big week for the Johnston school district and the .

While the school district celebrates , the library is gearing up for the second annual on Sunday.

Bringing the two events toghether is a special art display at the library.

The "Fire & Ice" showcase is full of the artwork of local elementary and middle school students.

From fires and snowflakes to dragons and mountains, students from , , and , as well as , interpreted this year's homecoming theme into a work of art.

The display will remain in the library until Sept. 15.
