Tasty Treats and Cool Tunes at Sundae in the Park: PHOTOS
From chocolate syrup to sprinkles there was plenty of free ice cream for residents of the Johnston school district Sunday.
With Thursday marking the start of a new school year, the Johnston Community Education and JCE Resource Council kicked things off with the annual Sundae in the Park on Sunday.
Although the cooler weather and threat of rain loomed, residents enjoyed a tasty treat and the music stylings of Wade Krieg and Ron Kennebeck at the Green Meadows West Gazebo.
While a few rain drops fell, there was plenty of ice cream to go around!
