Teen Charged with Alcohol Consumption After Reportedly Passing Out in Car: Johnston Police Blotter

The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls June 3. Take a look at the reports.

A quick nap behind the wheel turned into an alcohol charge for a teen.

On June 3, officers were dispatched to Peckham Street and Valley Parkway on a report of someone sleeping in the driver's seat of a car.

When officers arrived they found a male juvenile passed out.

June 3
Officers responded to a call of simple assault in the 5500 block of Kensington Circle. A 53-year-old woman reported her 12-year-old daughter had pushed her, but the mother did not want to press charges.

Officers responded to a residence in the 8600 block of Crescent Chase for a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend. The male subject was arrested for domestic abuse assault.

A 48-year-old man reported life jackets were stolen out of his boat while it was parked in his driveway in the 6800 block of Morningside Circle.
