Teens Face Drug Charges After Found Allegedly Passed Out in Car: Johnston Police Blotter

The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls July 11 and July 12. Take a look at the reports.

A snooze behind the wheel of a parked car turned into a trip to jail for one young man.

On July 11, Johnston Police officers were dispatched to 6641 N.W. Winwood Drive in response to a man passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle.Β 

Upon arrival officers found John Timmons, 18. He was charged with possession of marijuana and drug parahernalia.

Officers also issued a warrant for a second offender, Cody Jacobson, 18, for posession of drug parahernalia. He was arrested on July 12.
