Teens Nabbed for OWI, Under-Aged Drinking: Johnston Police Blotter

The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls June 1 to June 3. Take a look at the reports.

An alleged case of under-aged drinking got two Johnston teens in trouble on June 2.

A 17-year-old girl was charged with driving while intoxicated after being stopped at 6300 N. Winwood Drive. She was also charged with possession of alcohol by a minor.

Her 19-year-old male passenger was also charged with possession of alcohol by a minor.

June 3
Officers were sent to a residence in the 10100 block of North Glennstone Court about a domestic assault. A 27-year-old man was arrested.

June 1
Officers responded to a residence in the 6000 block of Pine Ridge Street to a call of a dispute among neighbors. The dispute began when one neighbor's dog got loose and entered the neighboring residence.

An 18-year-old woman reported she left her purse inside the Wynnsong Movie Theaters. When she returned the next day to see if the purse was still there it was missing.
