Thousand of Dollars in Jewelry Stolen: Johnston Police Blotter

Johnston Police officers responded to a late-night theft on June 1.

A 29-year-old woman and 30-year-old man reported the theft of thousands of dollars worth of jewelry from their home in the 6100 block of Glenn Circle.

Officers found a broken window as the likely entry point into the home.

The residents believe someone they know broke into their home and took the jewelry.

Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 6200 block of Meadow Crest Drive about a domestic dispute between a husband and wife.

Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 4600 block of Northwest 62nd Avenue on a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend.
