Timber Ridge Students Sing For Funds - And More Around Johnston

Timber Ridge Concert & Fundraiser
hosts "Float the Boat", a concert featuring fifth-grade students singing and playing patriotic, American folk music. The evening is a fundraiser for the USS Iowa restoration project. All proceeds will be given to the Pacific Battleship Center in San Pedro, CA, on behalf of the school. The event gets under way at 6:30 p.m. with a dessert potluck following.

JHS Sports
The Johnston boys' ninth grade, junior varsity and varsity soccer teams take on Dowling Catholic at beginning at 4 p.m.
The Johnston girls' ninth grade, junior varsity and varsity soccer teams take on Dowling Catholic at Johnston High School starting at 4 p.m.

Line Dancing
The Johnston Senior Center at hosts line dancing at 12:45 p.m., as well as Wii Bowling and pool from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
