Traffic Accident Nets Several Charges, Including OWI: Johnston Police Blotter
The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls May 20. Take a look at the reports.
A traffic accident at around 12:30 a.m. on May 20 ended with several citations for one woman.
Deanna Butterfield, 64, was arrested for operating while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an injury accident, failure to stop in a safe assured distance and no insurance.
Butterfield allegedly ran into the back of a vehicle that had four occupants; the collision happened in the area of 78th Avenue and Northwest Beaver Drive.

The occupants refused to be transported to the hospital via ambulance, but made arrangements to go to the hospital on their own.
