Traffic Stop Leads to Weapons Charge: Johnston Police Blotter

Aug. 10
A traffic stop at Northwest 70th Avenue and Peckham Street led to the arrest of Jason Gray, 25, for possession of methamphetamine and carrying a weapon a knife. Charges are pending for the vehicle's driver for possession of drug paraphernalia.
A 30-year-old woman reported her purse was stolen from her vehicle in the 6100 block of Glenn Circle.
