Vehicle Stolen, Found Abandoned in Des Moines: Johnston Police Blotter

Oct. 19
A 43-year-old woman was trespassed from Lithia Motors for making harassing statements to a cashier.
Officers were sent to the 6100 block of Chapel Ridge Way in regards to two care workers who had been assaulted by their adult client. Neither wished to press charges.
A 71-year-old woman reported someone broke into her residence and a vehicle in her garage was taken. A male acquaintance is believed to be responsible. The vehicle was found abandoned on a street in Des Moines by a family member.
