The city of Johnston will hold a public workshop April 29 to hear what infrastructure improvements residents want to see in the neighborhoods east of Merle Hay Road.

The City of Johnston will hold a public workshop April 29 to discuss exploring potential infrastructure projects within the East of Merle Hay Road neighborhoods.

The neighborhoods are defined as the area east of Merle Hay Road, west of Northwest Beaver Drive, north of Johnston Drive, and south of Northwest 62nd Avenue.

The purpose of this meeting is to continue the public input process that will involve city staff and officials, residents, and stakeholders in the decision making process for potential infrastructure improvements within the neighborhoods.

This third public workshop will continue to refine the infrastructure amenities by subarea to come to a final consensus on what area improvements could be, city officials said.
