Woman Finds Man in Garage: Johnston Police Blotter
The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls May 27. Take a look at the reports.

On May 27, a woman discovered an unwanted guest in her garage.
The 45-year-old woman reported to Johnston police that she had returned to her home in the 5400 block of Northwest 91st Street to find a man in her garage.
The woman had left the garage open when she left for a few minutes.

The man fled on foot and nothing was reported missing.Β

May 25
Shavon Brooks, 26, was arrested for driving while suspended in the area of Meredith Drive and Merle Hay Road.
May 26
Damian Ware, 27, was arrested for driving while suspended. He was stopped on the I-35/I-80 on-ramp near Merle Hay Road.
An employee of Honest Wrenches, 5356 Merle Hay Road, reported a burglary. The owner came into work to find the door to his business lying on the floor. No items were reported missing. Damage was consistent with being forced open with a vehicle.
May 27
A 41-year-old woman reported several of her outdoor times were moved during the night in the 6700 block of Hampton Court. No reported damage or missing items.
