Woman Reports Craigslist Scam: Johnston Police Blotter
The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls Aug. 20. Take a look at the reports.

Aug. 19
Officers responded to a residence in the 6600 block of Gables Way about an assault. A 43-year-old woman reported she was hit on the chin by 23-year-old woman for whom she is the caretaker.
Officers responded to a possible domestic fight in the 10100 block of Catalina Drive.
Aug. 20
A 57-year-old woman reported being scammed out of money when she attempted to sell a piano on Craigslist and the purchaser paid with a fraudulent money order that was for an amount over the selling price of the piano.
