Sep. 22, 2026 (kxel.com) — Marion residents dealing with recent flooding can schedule free curbside pickup of damaged bulk items through the city's Public Works Department now through October 2. You can request collection online or by calling during weekday business hours, with only hazardous and specialty materials excluded. The same regional roundup also notes flooding issues in Cedar Rapids and temporary office changes in Waterloo.
