Reading Assistance Dogs @ the Marion Library

Thanks to Corridor Therapy Dogs for providing dogs each month at the Marion Library who will be non-judgmental listeners and furry friends to read to. They won't laugh at children when they make mistakes or stumble over words, but rather will lie next to them and enjoy the stories the children read to them. Our reading program will be open to any child, but we'll focus on children who may need that extra boost of confidence. The dogs will join us for the first time beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 19! Bring your challenged reader!
