Sign Up for the Live Healthy Iowa 10-Week Challenge

Linn County Public Health (LCPH) is encouraging residents of the City of Marion and surrounding areas to participate in the Live Healthy Iowa 10 Week Wellness Challenge beginning January 28. This challenge is simple, affordable and even includes a little friendly competition.

Over the course of 10 weeks, teams (2-10 people) track activity minutes and/or weight loss through the Live Healthy Iowa website to motivate and support each other in achieving their fitness and weight loss goals.  Registration is available by visiting: http://www.livehealthyiowa.org/aspx/public/signup.aspx. This year’s cost is $20 per person with an opportunity to obtain a $5 (per person) discount coupon by visiting a local Hy-Vee or Hy-Vee.com. If you are a resident of Linn County you may sign-up using the Group ID: LHILINN.

The Live Healthy Iowa 10-Week Wellness Challenge is just one of a number of tools available that help sustain a healthy lifestyle and the Blue Zones Project™ by encouraging community-by-community well-being transformation, where people live and work together for a better life.
