(Blog) Don't Lose a Sale, Take Notice of Gutters

Yes, buyers notice gutters. Make sure yours are working correctly.

It may seem a strange time to start thinking about gutters.  Usually we start thinking of cleaning them out in the fall and spring.  However, with the warm winter temps causing melting, you can easily see how well your gutters are or aren’t working.

Recently, I’ve shown a number of homes that simply didn’t have gutters or didn’t have gutters that were working properly and buyers noticed right away.  If gutters are working correctly rainwater and melting snow will be taken away from your foundation and basement.  If they aren’t, the water is going to be pooling in these areas causing damage.
