Keeping it Real (Estate) with Deanna - Know the neighborhood you're buying into

Importance of location

It’s been said that the most important element of real estate is location.  Buyers often search for that perfect home in a school district they like, an area close to their work, or near family or friends.

Sometimes they may know that a neighborhood meets their location scenario, but not more than that.

Check the neighborhood out fully before purchasing to make sure it’s the best fit.  Drive by in the morning, afternoon, night, and weekend, to get a clear picture of the neighborhood.

Call the school to find out special programs offered.  Call the chamber of commerce for a list of businesses in the area. A large part of daily life revolves around amenities offered near your home.  Make sure you’re choosing a location that works for you and where you can easily see yourself.

Thanks!
