Keeping it Real (Estate) with Deanna - Marion is a State of Iowa “Great Place”
Another reason to want to live in Marion. The town has a "Great Place" designation.
I love Marion and am proud to be a resident of such a great and growing town. I’m always proud to show buyers what Marion has to offer – award winning schools, safe neighborhoods, unique uptown businesses.... the list goes on and on.
I realize that a lot of times my blogs are centered directly to buyers or sellers, so this week I thought I would take a moment to recognize what a great town Marion is. The Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs and Iowa Great Places Citizen Advisory Board in fall 2009 chose Marion as an Iowa "Great Place" a highly coveted designation.
Marion has been recognized as the safest city in the state of Iowa with a population over 10,000. It is also the fastest growing city in the state of Iowa (outside of the Des Moines metro) with a population over 10,000.
