Marion City Hall and other City offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 6 in observance of Labor Day. Regular business hours resume on Tuesday, Sept. 7. Police, Fire and other critical City services will continue to be provided.

Garbage, recycling and yard waste will not be collected on Labor Day. Collection will be one day late all week, taking place Tuesday through Saturday. The Recycling Drop-off Center will be open its regular hours Saturday, Sept. 4 from 8 a.m.-4:15 p.m. and Tuesday, Sept. 7 from noon-5:45 p.m.

Marion Public Library locations will be closed on Monday, Sept. 6 and will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, Sept. 7.

Marion’s splash pads will remain open through Labor Day and then crews will begin the winterization process.

Utility payments will be accepted online or via the drive-up drop box located outside the Marion Water Department office, now located at 3050 5th Avenue.
