City Of Marion: Construction Begins On Prairie Hill Park

Prairie Hill Park will be located at the corner of 29th Avenue and 50th Street, utilizing an existing water station on site. The planning for this park was part of a 2020 Neighborhood Park Master Plan.

The park will feature a 28-stall parking lot, a playground with structures for multiple ages, a pavilion, basketball court, baseball field and an inner loop trail. The park will be under development over the next year. The playground will be installed in early summer 2022 and will be a community build project. Look for more information to be released in the spring regarding the volunteer effort.
