City Of Marion: Oak Shade Cemetery Fall Clean-Up To Occur, Decorations Should Be Removed By Oct. 15

The Marion Parks and Recreation Department manages the historic Oak Shade Cemetery located at 789 2nd Avenue in Marion. With the help of a corps of Friends of Oak Shade Cemetery volunteers, cemetery clean-up occurs twice each year.

Any existing decorations should be removed by Oct. 15 so that fall clean-up can occur. Holiday decorations may be placed after Thanksgiving and remain in place until March 1.
