Linn County Extension will host a Greenhouse and Ornamental Applicators Continuing Instructional Course (CIC) for commercial pesticide applicators Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011. The program will be shown at locations across Iowa through the Iowa State University Extension Pest Management and the Environment (PME) program.
The local site for the Dec.21 CIC is Linn County Extension, 3279 7th Avenue Suite 140 in Marion. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. followed by sessions from 9 to 11:30 a.m. To register or to obtain additional information about the CIC, contact Lisa Klees at the Linn County Extension office by phoning 319-377-9839.
The 2011 course will provide continuing instructional credit for commercial pesticide applicators certified in categories 3G (Greenhouse Pest), 3O (Ornamental Pest) and 10 (Research and Demonstration).
