Neighborhood Toy Store Day

Saturday, November 12th Intelligent Life Toys will proudly donate 10% of the day's sales to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Cedar Rapids.  This is held in coordination with Neighborhood Toy Store Day, a day in with ASTRA (The American Specialty Toy Retailers Association) asks people across the country to stop in and see what it means to have a local toy store in your town.

The purpose of the Boys and Girls Clubs is the health, social, educational, vocational and character development of youth. They are concerned with all youth where there is a need, but primarily concerned with those that need us the most. This means not only the economically challenged, but socially, educationally, and physically challenged as well. They are concerned with emotional behavior, attitude and guidance of youth through wholesome, constructive activities in health, physical, educational, social, vocational and small group programs led by professionally trained team members. Boys and Girls Clubs are for girls and boys ages 6-18 years old of all races, religion, and ethnic cultures; provides prevention-based programs; offers a "safe place"; provides assurance all youth can afford to belong; is non-sectarian; and has an open-door policy.
