Marion Police Blotter: 5 with Suspended Licenses, Teen Drug Arrests, Burglary

Marion Police arrested five people for driving with a suspended license between Dec. 9 and Dec. 16, according to police records.

Arrests include: 

Russell Zachary Dahms, 21, of 1215 30^th St. SE, Cedar Rapids, was charged with driving with a suspended license at 10:53 p.m. on Dec. 9, at the intersection of Highway 151 and Katz Drive.

Kirk Andrew Harris, 45, of 1855 George Drive. was charged with driving with a suspended license at 3:51 p.m. on Dec. 10, at the 4500^th block of 29^th Avenue.

Bryan John Klein, 35, of 4991 8^th Ave. was charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to meet window and windshield requirements at 8:56 p.m. on Dec. 14 at the 1800^th block of 7^th Avenue.

Tyson Allen Strause, 37, of 6450 Christine Dr. was charged with driving with a suspended license and operating without registration at 1:15 p.m. on Dec. 16 at the 3100^th block of 7^th Avenue.

Shannon Niccole Fay, 31, of 400-27 Lindale Drive was charged with driving with a suspended license and driving with no insurance on Dec. 16 at 4:07 p.m. at the intersection of 10^th Ave. and 3^rd Street. 

Other recent arrests: 

A 16-year-old was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on Dec. 11 at 1:47 p.m. at 675 S. 15^th Street.

Patch does not typically name minors charged with crimes.

Leonard Deshawn Cook, 26, of 260 Jacolyn Dr. NW, Cedar Rapids, was arrested on a warrant and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving without a license on Dec. 12 at 1:18 a.m. at the intersection of 30^th Street Drive and East Post Road.

A 14-year-old was charged with possession of a controlled substance on Dec. 12 at 10:51 p.m. at 675 S. 15^th Street.

A 14-year-old was arrested on a warrant and charged with prohibited acts, interference with official acts on Dec. 14 at 3:24 p.m.

Heather Ladonn Bennett, 34, of 2719 O Ave. NW, Cedar Rapids, was charged with burglary in the 3^rd degree at 5:15 p.m. on Dec. 14, at 270 5^th Avenue.

David Lee Stackhouse, 53, of 296 Wroble Dr. was charged with domestic assault with serious injuries at 6:17 p.m. on Dec. 14, at his home address.
