Man Airlifted to Hospital Following 3-Vehicle Crash; Linn County Sheriff's Investigating
The crash occurred on Highway 30 just east of Lisbon on Friday afternoon.

Linn County Sheriff's Office is investigating a three-vehicle accident that sent two people to the hospital on Friday afternoon, including one who was airlifted to University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.
Multiple agencies responded to the crash at about 1:23 p.m. on Friday on Highway 30 just east of Lisbon.
Officers arrived to find an eastbound 2000 Chevy Pickup driven by Cody Wood, 19, of Tipton, had struck an eastbound 2002 Chrysler driven by Rosa Moss, 48, of Morley, a news release from the Linn County Sheriff's Office stated.

Moss was spun into the oncoming lane backwards where she struck a westbound 2001 Toyota Pickup driven by Virgil Clark, 66, of Lisbon. Clark had a head injury from the accident and was flown to University of Iowa Hospital by Lifeguard Air Ambulance, which had been called to the scene.
A passenger in Clark’s vehicle Brandon Sauer, 14, of Lisbon, was transported
to St Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids for what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries, according to the statement.

Wood was cited for failing to stop in an assured and clear distance. Wood and Moss were wearing their safety belts, while Clark and Sauer were not, according to the statement.
Sauer has been cited for failure to wear a safety belt.
The accident remains under investigation by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
