Marion Man Arrested Twice in Five Days, Once in Linn County Jail

The following information was provided by the Marion Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

A 47-year-old Marion Man has been arrested twice in one week, once in Linn County Jail.

John Howard Waddington was first charged May 19 with interference with official acts, possession of burglar’s tools, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance, according to Marion Police.

However, police records show that Waddington was given five more charges only five days later when he was in Linn County Jail, where he was charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute.

He was charged with a drug tax stamp violation, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of prescription drugs.
