The St. Olaf Band, conducted by Dr. Timothy Mahr and dubbed “one of America’s preeminent bands” by The
New Yorker, will be performing at Linn-Mar High School as part of its
Winter Tour. They will be featuring David Maslanka’s “A Child’s Garden of Dreams,” as well as a work by the conductor entitled “Scenes from a Life
Danced,” the second movement from Persichetti’s second symphony, and Dan
