• Sigourney Man Dies in Two-Vehicle Crash Near Ollie – KBOE 104.9FM Hot Country (kboeradio.com) — A Sigourney resident, 83-year-old Phillip Blackhurst, died Thursday afternoon after his van rear-ended a pickup on 270th Avenue southeast of Ollie in Keokuk County. Authorities say both drivers wore seatbelts; the other driver, from Packwood, was injured and taken to Keokuk County Hospital & Clinics. The Iowa State Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
