• Solon gets another win over Marion in rematch (soloneconomist.com) — Solon volleyball fans just saw their Spartans edge Marion in a nail-biting five-set home win, keeping the team's strong season rolling at 24-4. With big plays from Zephie Bishop, Addison Walter, and others, and a loud Solon student section behind them, the Spartans showed resilience that should energize the community heading into postseason play.
   

• Solon volleyball rallies a win for Cancer Awareness Night (soloneconomist.com) — Solon residents packed the high school gym for Cancer Awareness Night, rallying around nine-year-old Benjamin Phillips of Solon Intermediate School and raising over $1,000 toward his medical expenses. With pink decorations, luminaries, and a special first-serve ace from Benjamin, the community's support framed a hard-fought volleyball win over Marion.
   

• IVOE hosts annual Ruck-22 walk (soloneconomist.com) — Solon once again hosted the Ruck-22 walk, a 2.2-mile event raising awareness about veteran suicide and supporting Iowa Veterans Outdoor Experiences' free outdoor trips for veterans. Led by organizer Doug "Doc" Thompson and backed by local donations, the walk drew residents into a visible show of support for veterans coping with post-service struggles.
