• Urbandale Food Pantry reopens after two-week closure with bigger parking lot and safety upgrades (kcci.com) — Urbandale residents who rely on the Urbandale Food Pantry can once again visit after a two-week closure for major parking and safety upgrades, including 14 more spaces and new protective bollards. The pantry stayed busy rescuing about 15,000 pounds of food for partner sites during the shutdown, and staff say visitors are relieved and excited to have this key Urbandale resource back open.
