Setting resolutions? Consider local animals!

Please include helping animals on your 2012 resolution list!

As you plan out 2012 for you and your family, please consider how you could help local animals!

Whether it's time or money, there are many worthy local organizations who'd appreciate the support in caring for animals. Please consider:

collecting pet food donations for The Pet Pantry
donating auction or raffle items for animal welfare organizations' events
donating blankets, towels & cleaning supplies
donating money (every nonprofit is in need!)
donating collars and leashes
spreading the word about www.IowaPetAlert.com
helping educate fellow Iowans about puppy mills
volunteer to clean cages and walk animals
fostering an animal for a rescue group (AHeinz57, ARL & RVAS are all central Iowa groups who use foster homes!)

There's no better reward than seeing the adorable faces of animals who are happy, healthy and loved, thanks to your efforts!
