Businesses Cited for Selling Alcohol to Underage Buyer: Urbandale Police Blotter
Several Urbandale businesses had employees cited for selling alcohol to minors in today's Urbandale Police Department blotter.

The Urbandale police reports below are preliminary criminal charges. They do not represent convictions or court resolutions.
Employees at five Urbandale businesses were cited Oct. 9 for selling alcohol to an underage person as police checked to see who is following sales laws.
Police said 13 businesses were checked; out of those checks eight followed the law and five allegedly failed the check.

An employee at Plaza Florist, 6656 Douglas Ave., was cited for selling alcohol to an underage person.

An employee at the Kum & Go store, 6990 Douglas Ave., was cited for selling alcohol to an underage person.
A bartender at Mickey Finns, 7020 Douglas Ave., was cited for selling alcohol to an underage person.
An employee of El Rodeo Restaurant, 7420 Douglas Ave., was cited for selling alcohol to an underage person.
An employee of Isla Cozumel restaurant, 2743 86th St., was cited for selling alcohol to an underage person.
