DES MOINES, IOWA—The Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) will move its bus stop at Merle Hay Mall effective Sunday, Nov. 15, to the south entrance of Haymarket Mall, near Felix & Oscars and Hobby Lobby.
The move will affect the arrival/departure location for Local Routes 5, 14, 16, as DART buses will no longer pick up and drop off at the Merle Hay Mall entrance. Schedule times of these routes will not change.
A new DART Park & Ride lot will be added to the west of the new bus stop, in the parking lot of Hockenbergs. The Park & Ride location will serve these DART Routes: Local Routes 5, 14, 16; Express Route 91, which has bus stops along Merle Hay Road, and Flex Route 73, which can be pre-arranged to pick up on 64th Street.
