Dates You Need to Know for the 2012-13 Urbandale School Year

Now that the first week of class is nearly done in the Urbandale school district, it's time to plan around early outs and vacation days during the school year.

Here's some dates to make note of on your own calendar.

September

3 - No School (Labor Day)

12, 26 - Late Start for In-Service

17-21 - Homecoming week

October

10, 24 - Late Start for In-Service

November

7, 28 - Late Start for In-Service
21-23 - No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

5, 19 - Late Start for In-Service
24-31 - Winter Break

January

1 - Winter Break
16, 30 - Late Start for In-Service
21 - No School (Martin Luther King Day/Teacher Work Day)

February

13 - Late Start for In-Service
18 - No School (Teacher Work Day)

March

6 - Late Start for In-Service
15-22 - Spring Break

April

3, 17 - Late Start for In-Service

May

1,15 - Late Start for In-Service
23 - Last Day of School *

* May 23 is the last scheduled day of classes. This date could change pending the make-up of snow days.
