Doctor Moves His Eye Clinic to Urbandale from Southridge Mall
Dr. Emad Shenouda has opened Christian Eye Clinic on Douglas Avenue in Urbandale.

A metro opthalmologist's office, Christian Eye Clinic, has moved to Urbandale from Des Moines' Southridge Mall.
Dr. Emad Shenouda had operated the clinic in Southridge before closing it when the mall was remodeled, reports the Des Moines Register.
Shenouda's Urbandale office is at 7011 Douglas Ave. The practice offers general eye care services, and specializes in glaucoma, diabetes, macular degeneration and cataracts, the newspaper said.

Shenouda told the Register he named his office Christian Eye Clinic because his faith is important to him. He came to the United States in the mid 1990s and is originally from Egypt.
Office hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
