Early-Morning Fire Badly Damages Urbandale Home
The fire broke out in the 3000 block of 68th Street Wednesday morning.
An Urbandale home sustained significant fire damage Wednesday morning after it was nearly engulfed in flames, KCCI Channel 8 reports.
The fire happened in the 3000 block of 68th Street at 2 a.m., the television station reported. No one was home at the time of the fire, which was engulfed in flames by the time fire crews arrived.
Urbandale Fire Chief Jerry Holt told KCCI it was likely the fire started in the kitchen.
An exact cause is still being determined.
