Registration Deadline: Session 300-September 10, Session 310-October 8, Session 320-November 5Are you interested in learning how to use a computer, but are scared to try it? Perhaps you have a computer, or are planning to get one, but don’t know how to work it! Join us in this non-threatening four-day class, and become familiar and more comfortable with the basics of computers! Participants will learn to turn on the computer, about the keyboard, how to use a mouse, how to write letters, to save documents, and basic word processing! We will also learn about Internet activities, web sites, e-mail, and search engines. No prior knowledge of computers is required. Each class builds on the skills learned in the previous day’s class, so please plan on attending all four days. Computer class works with Office 2010. Class is held at the Urbandale Senior Center, and there is a maximum of 6 in a class. Instructor: Paul Spong.
