First American Bank is opening a Student Bank at Jensen Elementary School! Staffed and operated by students, the Student Bank allows any Jensen student to open a savings account at First American Bank, which earns a very competitive interest rate. The students learn valuable lessons about saving, interest, and managing their money.
The Student Bank will be open once per week for students to make deposits and withdrawals. First American also operates a Student Bank at Rolling Green Elementary in Urbandale.
The Jensen Student Bank Grand opening will be held on Tuesday, September 4, and the whole community is invited! Ribbon cutting will be at approximately 8:15 a.m.
