Yoga with Beth

For many years, yoga has helped people of all ages and walks of life improve their sense of health and well-being. Yoga combines fluid movements with focused and attentive breathing. This aligns the mind and spirit with the physical body, creating a perfect “union”, or “yoga”. In today’s hectic world, daily stresses and constant mental distractions put tension into our bodies, sometimes to the point of making us ill. The purpose of yoga is to soothe the inner spirit by calming the mind and body. Yoga poses help slow us down, and we naturally become more focused and relaxed. As students grow in their yoga experience, the poses become more challenging, allowing the body to grow stronger and more limber. At any level, the benefits of yoga are the same-stronger muscular endurance, sharpened mental clarity, deeper flexibility, improved circulation and immunity and above all a heightened sense of well-being. Let yoga start you on a journey you can enjoy for a lifetime-body, mind and spirit! This class is for active individuals who are injury-free. Sessions last 6 weeks. Maximum 50 per class. Classes fill up quickly, so sign up early! A yoga mat is required for all yoga classes. Instructor: Beth Damm. Registration Deadline: July 12

*NO CLASS: July 5 or August 16
