Every Vote Counts: Help Iowa ‘Goodle Doodle’ Win Oodles of Votes
If Urbandale Middle School student wins, she gets a $30,000 scholarship and her school gets a $50,000 technology grant.

Everybody wins if Urbandale Middle School eighth grader Marissa Frost’s drawing is chosen as the national winner in the technology giant annual in the sixth annual Doodle 4 Google contest,
She wins a $30,000 scholarship to help her pursue her dream of becoming a medical scientists and work on cures for quality-of-life diminishing diseases. And Urbandale schools win a $50,000 technology grant, that will allow educators to further challenge students to do what Google calls “moonshot thinking” and solve some of the world’s most vexing problems.
And one more "win": Millions of Google users will see her drawing when they log onto their homepage or do a search.

Every vote counts. The 50 state winners will be winnowed to five in public voting, which continues through May 10. Vote for Frost’s doodle here.
The final selection will be made by a panel of artists, celebrities and athletes, including newswoman Katie Couric and gymnast Ali Reisman, captain of the gold-medal winning U.S. Women’s Gymnastics Team at the London 2012 Olympics.
