4. Dry It, You'll Like It: Dehydrating 101
Where/When: Central Iowa Compounding, Saturday 10am
Why Go: In this half-day class you will learn what foods can be easily dehydrated and healthy recipes using a dehydrator. The $65 includes food samples as well.

3. UCAN Halloween Party
Where/When: Urbandale Community Action Network, Saturday 4:30-8pm
Why Go: UCAN is putting on a rocking Halloween party for elementary and middle-school kids of Urbandale. The kindergarten through fifth graders will have their party from 4:30pm to 6pm and the middle school party will go from 6:30pm to 8pm. There will be a DJ dance party, costume contest, arts and crafts and games for everyone to enjoy!
